But then, you suddenly become aware that it's not really funny. It's just plain horrifyingly awful. And the laughter you felt morphs into a sigh.

In the end, you are left with a sense of bewilderment. You question about the nature of it all. Was this a joke?

Or were we just simply unfortunate enough to witness this spectacle unfold?

Worst Day Ever

It all started with a terrible case of morning hair. I couldn't make it to look decent. As I was scrambling out the door, I fell and spilled all over myself. To make matters worse, I was extremely running behind for school.

It all started out badly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then everything went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
